Prime Day Finds

Happy Prime Day Yall!

I need more things like a need a hole in my head, but there are some great Prime Day deals I want to share--Check out my picks below!

1) Robotic Vacuum

My boyfriend has this vacuum ( we named it Rob) and it works really well! Comparable to a Roomba and they are such time savers. This is a great time to purchase one for yourself or stock up early on Christmas gift.

2) Makeup Organizer

I have seen so many bloggers talk about this organizer. The compartments rearrange so you can adjust to your palette sizes and it keeps them protected. How many of us have opened up our bags to find powder or a broken eyeshadow over everything.... this helps prevent that horrid moment.

3) Screen Protectors

Okay this is something I actually really needed because I cracked my tempered glass screen a while ago, and its finally time to replace it.  A pack of three for under $10-- Such a good find!

4) St Tropez Tanner

My favorite brand tanner is having a fantastic deal!!! If you haven't read about how much I love St. Tropez click here! Stocking up now!!!

5) Dyson Vacuum

So if I had the need for this I would ABSOLUTELY buy it. I have one at the dance studio and am obsessed and it's such a good time to grab this because of the deal! I love these vacuums and I have nothing but amazing things to say about them.. sooo worth the money especially if you have pets.

6) Instant Pot

If you've been wanting to try this favorite kitchen tool, now is a great time to purchase! This is another item that would make a great gift--Join the Instant Pot cooking craze

7) Jumpsuit

This Instaworthy romper is one of my favorites! Check out all about how I style it here and grab it while you can.

Lets Talk About Self Tanner

Sunday, May 19, 2019

Hey Y'all!

So excited to be talking about one of my favorite beauty buys...self tanner! I am team Fake Bake all the way. Something I am super against is tanning beds and I strongly believe in protecting your skin. I wear sunscreen everyday. I'll be sure to share my favorite sunscreen products soon, but for now I wanna talk about my favorite self tanners that help me achieve that sun kissed glow!

1. Jergens Daily Moisturizer
I have been using this stuff for over 10 years. I love that it no longer has an oder- do y'all remember when that smell was potent? This is such a great daily lotion for an all over light glow- I never feel like it brings a ton of color but it does keep me from getting pasty in the winter! I sometimes use it over my other self tanners and especially on my knees and elbows.

2. Jergens Instant Sun Mousse

This was probably the first dark self tanner I  ever used. I think it does a great job for the price. The color appears really quickly in a nice deep bronze. It does show streaks easy and it doesn't last for more than a couple days. If you are looking for a more affordable option this is  great one!

3. L'orel Sublime Bronze Gelee
I am not a fan of the smell, but it dries really quickly. Beware this product will stain if you don't wash it out fast. It's a great tanner if you want something other than a mousse or a lotion based product. I do think the color leaves you with more of an orange color than a bronze.

4.St Moriz Fast Tan Mousse

This is a product I just started using in the last couple of months. It's a St. Tropez dupe you can find at Ulta or on Amazon. I think it works really well. I am a big fan of the tanners that you wash off. This one I generally put  on at night, sleep, and wash it off in the morning. The color is fantastic. It does dry fast when you are applying so make sure you smooth it in quickly! Also you HAVE to apply with a mitt. I haven't heard great things about their mitts but I use the St. Tropez mitt and it works just fine! This is a good option if you want a deep color like St Tropez but don't want to spend double the money, just apply it very evenly and you will be a bronze goddess.

5.St Tropez Self Tan Express
My favorite body self tanner. This stuff is amazing and it doesn't streak. The color is very natural and it stays on. I generally apply only once a week and the color lasts. Its pricey but it's worth it.  You apply and wait 1 to however many hours to want to let the color soak in. I generally apply at night and shower it off in the morning, also you HAVE to apply with a mitt.  The longer you wait to shower the deeper the color. St. Tropez has a great applicator mitt thats around $6. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for that airbrush tan that they can get at home! See below for a picture of my skin 8 hours after application

6. Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops.
Run,  don't walk to your nearest Sephora for this product. I just bought this on Friday after hearing such great things about it. I am OBSESSED. I have had such a hard time finding a self tanner for my face and this product works sooo well. You  just add these liquid drops to your normal moisturizer and then mix and spread on your face or body. This color is so good y'all. I got the Dark color so I could really build my tan, I add about 5 drops to my moisturizer. Also it doesn't come off when I wash my face which I do 2x a day! Im testing to see how long it lasts but so far so great and it hasn't made me breakout! I highly highly highly recommend as a tanner but especially if you are looking to tan your face

Shop these Self Tanners Below!

-I hope you all enjoy this little self tanner review. Let me know in the comments below if you have a favorite self tanner! Now if I could only find a way to self tan the center of my back which I cant reach.......

High School Graduation Gift Guide

Tuesday, May 7, 2019

I can't believe it's May!!!! "Insert Justin Timberlake Meme here" this time of year has me very nostalgic about graduation from both high school and college. Because of this,  I wanted to share some of my favorite gifts and purchases I received/bought before heading to college. If you are headed to a graduation party check out these items below for inspiration.

1) Monogram Duffel
This is something my mom purchased for me the Christmas after I started college, and let me tell you.. I still use it all the time. Its the perfect size for a long weekend! "If its not moving, monogram it"

2) Monogram Towels
Another Monogram Item-This was one of my favorite graduation gifts and one that I plan to give any future high school graduates- a monogrammed towel in their school colors. One of my classmates purchased this for me, and I thought it was so clever and  so unique. Make sure that you pick  a pretty color for the towel and use the spirit colors for the embroidery!

This is my mom'g go-to graduation present. A Tervis with their school logo and colors filled with gift cards. Its clever, useful, and simple, and everyone has been extremely grateful!

4)Hunter Boots
My biggest advice to college freshmen is INVEST IN GOOD RAIN-BOOTS. I had cheap ones my freshmen year and ...SURPRISE.. they got a hole, and nobody has time for soggy socks. My Hunters were the the best investment in my college wardrobe. Now... if you live somewhere where it doesn't rain a ton..maybe not the best, but I think this is such a great gift for someone you want to spoil!

5) Kendra Scott Elisa Necklace
Now I love my Kendra, and this piece is a staple- especially in the South. I've seen lots of people create custom pieces at Kendra in School Colors- my advice here, go with something neutral that they can wear all the time- like an opal, a drusy, or even just the plain filagree.

Shop this post below by clicking the images! I hope you find a great gift for your graduate!

The Cutest Swimmies

Thursday, April 18, 2019

Hello #SavvySquad

I am excited about this post, mostly because it's getting me excited for warm weather., but also because who doesn't love a good bikini! I recently purchased two new swimmies that I am totally in love with.

The first one I want talk about is such a #Savvyfind. I was trying to find a scoop neck bikini and landed on this one from Amazon! It is such a good quality bathing suit and its so comfortable! I love the rainbow stripe which is extremely on trend. The best part.. its $12. As soon as I saw the price I had to buy it, because why not? I sized up on this suit and the fit is perfect. If you are bigger chested it might not be the best option because it does ride up a little. Also, the removable cups were a little stiff so I replaced them with ones I already owned.
Check out the Link below for this amazing Amazon Bikini!

This Old Navy Swimsuit is such a classic style. I was not into the high-waisted bathing suit trend until I tried out this one. I found these two separates and knew they would last me a long time and would be so versatile. The high waisted bottoms are a MUST and these separates come in different colors! The fit is perfect and I sized my normal size. You will definitely be seeing me in a variation of this swimsuit all summer. The top is on sale for 10 dollars today so check it out!

Happy Shopping!

Spring Old Navy Purchases

Monday, April 15, 2019

Hello #SavvySqad

If you have been following me on Instagram ( which ya should if ya don't!)  you know that I love a good Old Navy find. Last week I purchased a couple items during their 40% off everything sale and I wanted to share some amazing finds!

A new denim jacket.

Yes.. I finally bough a new one after seven years, but I cant recommend the quality enough because it really did last that long. The fit is great and I know I'll get my monies worth. Wait till these go on sale to purchase, but if you need a new denim jacket I suggest this one!

Lilac Chambray Button Up

I've been eyeing this shirt for about 2 months and have almost purchased it several times. I love this color and I think its going to be so cute paired with white jeans or a denim skirt. Also, this fabric is so soft so it will easily tuck in or tie up.

Taupe Slide Ons

I have so many Taupe colored shoes. From my favorite slide on sneaks to booties, I think this color is so transitional. I saw these slide-on sandals and thought they would be a great addition to my taupe shoe family. The cushioned sole makes them so comfy! If you are in between sizes size up.

Stay tuned for more fashion finds and let me know if you have any great Old Navy purchases in the comments below!

Another Savvy Amazon Haul

Friday, April 12, 2019

Another amazing Amazon Post to share with you today!

I am headed to Charleston next week an I cannot wait. I wanted to find some cute new pieces for my trip and headed over to Amazon to see if anything sparked my fancy... who am I kidding- I can always find something! Click the Photos for Links!

I have seen these Rattan bags everywhere. Everyone has this wicker clutch and I wanted something a little different, so I decided on this cute Rattan shoulder bag. I am sooo excited about this, the quality is amazing and the floral print inside is too cute. I know I'll be wearing this a ton!

You may or may have not seen people rave about this little Romper on Insta. I have seen many different posts about this one in  both the pant version and the shorts, so I decided to try it out. I settled on a navy color and OMG such a good find. I know ill be wearing this a ton from travel to just an easy throw-on outfit. It is so comfortable and a good length. The shorts aren't too short and the material isn't too thick or too thin. I only wish it was a real drawstring waist!
PS- Ive heard the striped version is see through so my advice is to go solid.

Hope you enjoyed these #SavvyFinds and let me know if you purchased these or found another great Amazon Fashion purchase!

Weekly Obsession: 4.8.19

Monday, April 8, 2019

Hi #SavvySquad

I want to start a weekly blog post where I tell you about all the things I am currently obsessed with. From shows makeup... to snacks... and everything in-between! I hope you like these sorts of posts, let me know in the comments below. ( Click on the photos for links to the items)

1.Makeup Eraser

How did I ever live without this thing. I purchased this about a month ago and have been OBSESSED. This is the only thing that gets all  my makeup off, and totally waste free. All you need is water and this cloth for a clean fresh face! If you don't have it yet, I promise it's a game changer

2.   Boom Chicka Pop- Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn

Okay I've eaten two bags of this stuff, so yummy. Aldi had it on sale so I couldn't resist!

3. Cherry Blossoms

It's that time in DC where 1.5 million tourists and every DC blogger runs to get a photo by these blush blossoms. This was my first year going to the blossoms, even after living here for 6 years, and it was totally worth it.

4. Old Navy

Old Navy has had some AMAZING sales this spring! I purchased a couple items last week when the  online site was having 40% off EVERYTHING ( I'll make sure to post about them when they come in!) They are currently having a 50% off dresses, tees and jeans in store!

5. "Never Enough" - Loren Allred

I've had this song on replay and it really makes me want to choreograph. Such a beautiful song, such powerful vocals and it's from such an amazing movie. If you haven't seen "The Greatest Showman" make sure to check it out on HBO before it heads out.

Are you obsessed with  any of my obsessions? Let me know!

Make sure to check back weekly for more posts like these!
